Former Swansea City star Michu has scored for Real Oviedo in the Segunda Division.

Ankle injuries have ruined his past two seasons and his Swansea contract was terminated by mutual consent following a failed loan move to Napoli.

Michu returned to join his brother Hernan Perez's Spanish fourth-tier side UP Langreo and work his way back to full fitness, reports the South Wales Evening Post.

He returned to first club Oviedo in the summer, signing a one-year deal, and has made 11 appearances so far in the Segunda Division, finding the net in a league game for the first time by heading in the opener in Saturday's 2-0 win over leaders Levante.
