Bolo Zenden is in talks with Doncaster Rovers.

The former Chelsea, Liverpool and Middlesbrough star, 35, is a free agent after leaving Sunderland and recently saw a move to Scottish heavyweights Celtic collapse.

Now, Zenden is set to join Dean Saunders' Championship strugglers this week, if they can put a proper offer to him, says the Mirror.

The Dutch midfielder looked fit and sharp in his trial at Celtic, but the club's money men did not come up with the deal he hoped for.
