Former Sunderland boss Roy Keane has been questioned by police, it has been revealed.
The Sunday Mirror says Keane was questioned by police after a row in the street over his dog.
The former Manchester United player and Sunderland boss clashed with a neighbour while walking one of his two pets near his £2million mansion.
Police were called over claims that threats of violence were made and both men were spoken to by officers. Keane, 37, who quit as Sunderland manager in December, often walks his Labrador Triggs near his home in Bowdon, Greater Manchester.
There were no arrests after the confrontation last month.
A source said: "Keano's dog did something to offend someone... and it all kicked off.
"They exchanged angry words. He wanted police to take it further but they did not think there was enough in it."
