Christian Tiffert has revealed that he found out about his sacking from the Seattle Sounders via the internet.
The 31-year old German midfielder is no longer a Seattle player after the club bought out his contract earlier this month and he has disclosed the truth about what occurred as he gets set to continue his career in his homeland.
"From the Internet, where I just randomly surfed a little, I found out that I'm out. All of a sudden," he told a Central German newspaper.
"The MLS is all strictly regulated. The clubs may not act only in a financial limit. Players earn in a maximum of $350,000. Only three professionals per team may be higher. I was one of them.
"But although I've played in the last season very well and the coach also assured me to want to keep me and that I fit into the scheme, it suddenly stopped."
