Ex-Stoke, Middlesbrough forward Tuncay joins Bolton on loan

Bolton have today confirmed the loan signing of Tuncay Sanli from German club VfL Wolfsburg.

The 29-year old Turkey international has already spent close to four seasons in English football with Middlesbrough and Stoke City and has now returned on a season-long loan delighting Trotters boss Owen Coyle.

"We are delighted to have secured the loan for Tuncay," he said.

"He has great experience added to the proven quality he possesses. We are pleased to have brought him to our club."

And the former Fenerbahce man is happy to be back in England with Bolton.

"I had good talks with the manager and we spoke a lot about football and his ambitions for the club and I wanted to be part of that," he said.
