Former Tottenham and QPR midfielder Adel Taarabt hasn't made a good first impression at Benfica.

Record says at Benfica's opening preseason camp, Taarabt failed several fitness tests.

However, Benfica insiders insist there is no cause for concern as the midfielder wasn't expected to arrive in prime shape.

Taarabt fell out with former QPR manager Harry Redknapp after he criticised the Moroccan's application in training.
