Former Tottenham defender Paul Miller believes Gareth Bale would be wrong to move to abroad.

Miller says the Welshman wouldn't be able to handle the adjustment.

He told talkSPORT: "I don't think he could handle a move abroad at this stage. Very few young players go abroad and do well.

"He could probably handle a move to one of the Manchester clubs, but he shouldn't even be thinking of going abroad.

"He's at the right place at the moment. He's a young lad with a young family and he's not the type to go abroad, maybe even ever, let alone now."
