Former Tottenham football chief Damien Comolli has questioned Olympique Marseille's move for Mikel John Obi.
The Chelsea midfielder is in talks about a January move to OM.
However, Comolli warned in La Phoceen: "The first thing we must note is that with (Jose) Mourinho and (Antonio) Conte he did not play the last two seasons, and there must be a reason in terms of the level as he was not injured.
"Last year, when Mourinho left, Obi Mikel has reacted quite aggressively deploring the fact that he did not communicate with the players and he did not know why he was not playing. On the other hand, when (Guus) Hiddink replaced the Portuguese, he put him in the team and it went quite well, but once Conte arrived at the beginning of the season, he returned to the bench.
"Besides, Chelsea are currently looking for a player in his profile."
