Former Tottenham boss Tim Sherwood believes a midseason return to the stadium can work to their advantage.
There remains no set date for the move to the 62,062 seater stadium and Tottenham will play all of their Champions League group stage games at Wembley.
But Sherwood told the London Evening Standard: “I don't think it would be a disruption to the players or management at all, I think Mauricio [Pochettino] has made it quite obvious that he's not using it as an excuse.
“Everyone would want the situation sorted, more so for the fans, but from a playing perspective you just get on with it, you play where you're asked to play and certainly from Pochettino he wants the situation sorted but there won't be any excuses.
“I think they can cope with it and then when they move it they just have to make sure the stadium is right, as I'm sure it will be."
