Former Tottenham boss Tim Sherwood is back on the agenda of Crystal Palace.
The Sunday Express says Sherwood last night emerged as favourite to take over as Crystal Palace manager after Neil Warnock became the first Premier League boss to be fired this season.
Bookies immediately installed former Spurs boss Sherwood as 7-2 favourite for the job, followed by Warnock's predecessor, Tony Pulis, at 6-1.
Pulis, who won manager of the year award last season for steering Palace to Premier League safety, surprisingly quit in the summer.
