Former Southampton midfielder David Prutton sees Antonio Valencia as Manchester United's weak link.

The Saints will lock horns with Manchester United at Wembley this afternoon in the EFL Cup final.

“He's such a strong player," Prutton told the Daily Star.

“But if he bombs forward like he does with those winger tendencies then have United got the wherewithal to fill the gaps?

“Southampton could find little pockets.

“If and when Southampton do get chances they have to be clinical and decisive.

“Against Liverpool, the chances they had they put them away.

“They can be clinical when they need to be and it's well within their ability to do that."
