Former Southampton boss Mauricio Pellegrino is under consideration at Leganes.

Asier Garitano announced last week he would be stepping down as Leganes coach at the end of this season.

Among the candidates under consideration to replace Garitano is Pellegrino, who was sacked by Southampton earlier this year. Talks between the two parties kicked off last week, says AS.

Guti has declared he is leaving his job this summer in order to enter first team management and Leganes are exploring the prospect of handing him a first senior chance.
