Former Southampton boss Mauricio Pellegrino has been named new manager of Leganes.
The 46-year-old, who had been out of work since March following his dismissal from Southampton, signed a one-year deal to take over the job on Saturday.
Leganes had been looking for a new boss after Asier Garitano left his position to take over the reigns at Real Sociedad last month.
The Argentinian will now look to restart his managerial career after somewhat tarnishing his reputation during his nine-month stint at Southampton.
His new side Leganes had a mixed-bag season last term, finishing just above the relegation zone in 17th place.
