Former Southampton boss Dave Jones has applied for the Ivory Coast job.

Former Cardiff City and Sheffield Wednesday boss Jones has applied for Ivory Coast's vacant managerial position, says the Mirror.

The 58-year-old, who has been out of a job since being sacked by Wednesday in 2013, is the only Brit in the running out of a list of 59 applicants.

Jones is yet to manage at international level since beginning his management career 20 years ago with Stockport County.
