Ex-Santos fullback Jonathan thrilled with Inter Milan move
Former Santos fullback Jonathan has completed his move to Inter Milan.
He arrived for pre-season training today from Santos and is widely considered to be the ‘new Douglas Maicon.’
“I am happy to be here so I can do my work and prove my quality,” he told Inter Channel.
Jonathan joins several Seleçao teammates at San Siro, although many of them are currently on international duty in the Copa America.
“I haven’t spoken to Lucio yet, while I only crossed paths with Maicon a few times for Cruzeiro along with Julio Cesar.
“Everyone in Brazil says Inter are a marvellous club and a very strong squad. I hope to give my contribution so the side can continue being truly great.”
