Former Roma coach Carlo Mazzone has joined Gigi Simoni in condemning outspoken Inter Milan boss Jose Mourinho.

"Mourinho hasn't understood a single thing about Italian football," he told Tuttomercatoweb on his 72nd birthday.

"He is a great Coach, but he must learn that he can't keep stirring up unnecessary controversy, particularly when it troubles his colleagues.

"What is the point in acting like that? What has he accomplished? Nothing.

"Mourinho needs to talk less so we can concentrate on his skills as a tactician," he concluded.
