Seattle Sounders captain Mauro Rosales is keen to remain at the club for at least another couple of years.
The 32-year old Argentine midfielder has been in Seattle since arriving from River Plate in 2011 and is hoping he can sort a new deal so he can stay at CenturyLink Field for a while longer yet.
“Of course,” Rosales said. “I want to stay in the country and in MLS for a few more years, yeah. I wish I can stay here. We will see.”
In order for Rosales to stay, Seattle may need to rescind his Designated Player status so they are able to fit him into the salary cap.
