Former Premier League ref Mark Halsey says Manchester United should've been awarded a penalty for Claudio Bravo's flying challenge on Wayne Rooney yesterday.
He also claims the Manchester City goalkeeper should've been sent off for the tackle.
Halsey told The Sun: “Bravo has miscontrolled the ball, is off the ground and is out of control. So it's a case of whether it's reckless which is a caution?
"Or whether it's reckless that endangers the players' safety with excessive force.
"That should be sanctioned with a red card. It's hard to blame Mark. He would not have seen the extent of the challenge from the position he was in.
"You have to ask questions of assistant referee Simon Bennett. What is he doing as he has the ultimate viewing angle?
"In any case it should result in a penalty for Manchester United."
