Ex-Red Star, PSG midfielder Boskovic unhappy with DC United game time

Branko Boskovic admits he is unhappy about how he has been treated at DC United this season.

The 32-year old Montenegrin attacking midfielder has started just 10 times during 2012 and only once has he made it past the 75-minute mark.

Again on the weekend, Boskovic was hooked by coach Ben Olsen early in the second half as DC went on to beat New England Revolution 2-1 but he feels he has been hard done by, especially with the excuse of him being unfit.

"Maybe I look like this, like I'm tired, I'm not ready," the former Red Star Belgrade, Paris Saint-Germain and Rapid Vienna player told the Washington Times. "But that's how I play, that's how I run. I cannot change myself.

"You know, it's the end of the season. When am I going to be ready if I'm not ready now?

"How can I be happy when every time I'm [the first player subbed] out? Nobody can be happy. I also say I'm not angry with Ben, I respect his decision. His decision was right because we win the game."
