Inverness Caledonian Thistle goalkeeper Antonio Reguero was chuffed to achieve something on the weekend that his old sparring partner Victor Valdes has yet to.
The 30-year old former Real Madrid youth kept a clean sheet against Scottish champions Celtic in Caley's 1-0 win at Parkhead on Saturday and he was thrilled to bits after Valdes and his Barcelona teammates failed to do the same in their 2-1 Champions League defeat a few weeks ago.
"It was special for me to sit in the same dressing room as Barcelona," he told SunSport.
"Maybe I was sitting where Victor Valdes sat, maybe I sat where (Lionel) Messi sat. It was pretty amazing.
"Then we got the chance to get on the pitch and see the people who came to the game. It was lovely.
"I don't know why we won and Barcelona didn't. It's different I suppose, even though football is the same.
"Sometimes it happens. Barca suffered a defeat, but a simple club like Inverness can win at Celtic Park.
"I watched Celtic in the Champions League. I was cheering them on. I am from Madrid, so of course I was!"
