Former Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon has turned the screw on Jose Mourinho over his team's dismal start to the season. Mourinho lashed out at his players after defeat to Sevilla, which left Calderon unimpressed.

"Mourinho's remarks do not help us to solve anything," rapped Calderon on RAC-1.

"If he said that, then it would be legitimate for the players to say they have no coach. I imagine the players did not appreciate what Mourinho said. I know when they run out to play, they give their all."

He also said of the Real coach: "He never assumes responsibility for mistakes.

"This manager has many qualities, but also weaknesses."
