Former Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon would like to see Harry Kane move to the Spanish giants.

Calderon believes Tottenham's Kane is the ideal player for Real this summer but knows it will be almost impossible to get the prolific striker.

He said: “Kane is perfect.

"He is the player that Real Madrid would like to sign but we know how Daniel Levy (Spurs chairman) is with negotiations — we saw that with Luka Modric and Gareth Bale — and it will be difficult.

“I don't know if Spurs would let him leave as they are going into a new stadium."
