Former Real Madrid defender Ivan Campo says Cristiano Ronaldo does a lot of kind things away from the spotlight.

Campo was able to get to know the former Manchester United star when he was with Bolton Wanderers.

He told Marca: "Does Cristiano Ronaldo fit in the Galacticos? He fits right now in Madrid.

"I have lived with him in Manchester and he is very vulnerable and does millions of things for many people, he is always willing to help his teammate."

Campo added: "(Zinedine) Zidane is managing Madrid in a wonderful way, he is frankly good enough to lead Madrid for many years."

He also hopes to see former club Real Mallorca back in the LaLiga.

"I hope that Mallorca will return to the Primera Division and once again excite the Mallorquinism, for that within the club there must be people who know football and how it works."
