Former Real Madrid coach and Manchester United No2 Carlos Queiroz says Cristiano Ronaldo owes him nothing.

It was Queiroz who took Ronaldo to Old Trafford and the Real star has recently praised his countryman.

"I owe nothing to Cristiano, nor him to me," said Queiroz.

"The important thing is that I know what I did for him in his professional life and also the coaches he worked with. And for me that's enough."
