Gregg Wylde is expected to sign a deal with Premier League club Bolton Wanderers today.
The 20-year old winger was one of the first casualties of Rangers' current financial situation when he agreed to leave the club less than two weeks ago to help them cut costs.
But with every grey cloud there is a silver lining and that is apparent in this case as Wylde gets set to sign a three-year deal with the Trotters.
Bolton boss Owen Coyle has been a massive fan of Wylde and is now about to get his man, beating the likes of Newcastle United, Charlton Athletic and Southampton to his signature.
"He's played an awful lot of games at a young age, both domestically and in Europe.
"He's a wide player who excites me. I love to see a winger taking on his full-back and getting crosses in.
"The boy is a fantastic crosser of the ball.""Gregg is a very talented young player. He's one we tried to sign in August," Coyle said.
