Charlie Miller has confirmed he has Scottish Premier League ambitions more than eight years after he last played in the competition.
The 35-year old former Rangers and Dundee United midfielder has played for Norwegian club SK Brann, Belgian outfit Lierse, Australian clubs Brisbane Roar and Gold Coast United and Scottish third division team Clyde since 2004 but says he is keen to find a new club so he can get back into the SPL fray.
"I'm going to get a good pre-season behind me and try to get a club in the SPL," he told the News of the World.
"I still have ambitions to play in the SPL - the key is being fit.
"I agreed to help out at Clyde and I played the last five games for them, but I wasn't match fit so it wasn't great."
