Ex-Rangers, Leicester, Norwich midfielder Hughes to trial with Aberdeen

Former Rangers, Leicester City and Norwich City midfielder Stephen Hughes is set to trial with Aberdeen.

The 29-year old, who finished his second stint with Motherwell earlier this month, has been brought in by Dons boss Craig Brown who has lost midfielders Rob Milsom and Isaac Osbourne to long-term injuries.

“We have lost two midfielders and Hughes is a talented player who is available after his release by Motherwell so we will assess the lad this week,” Brown said.
