Ex-Rangers defender Papac may quit despite Osasuna interest

Sasa Papac could yet call time on his playing career according to his agent.

The 32-year old Bosnian defender is currently a free agent after leaving Rangers when his contract expired at the end of last season and is attracting the interest from clubs in England, Turkey and Russia as well as Spanish outfit Osasuna.

But his agent Petar Bazic suggests he may even turn down all those proposals and retire form the game after being left drained by the events at Rangers of the last few years.

"Sasa is now on holiday with one decision to make - does he carry on or stop playing altogether?" Bazic told the Daily Express.

"His fitness is good right now and he could carry on, but football at the top level can be tough on the mind.

"Sasa has a had a lot to deal with at Rangers and that can affect a player and their motivation.

"He enjoyed life in Scotland, but maybe there comes a point when you feel that it's right to stop.

"I will not pressure him and will give him space to decide for himself."
