Ex-Rangers captain Moore calls time on international career

The 32 year old was replaced by Brett Holman, and after the match, he announced his decision to call time on his international career.

Moore is currently playing for A-League outfit Queensland Roar is delighted and thankful for the time he had with the Socceroos. "That will be the last time for me," he said.

"It was a great way to finish it off; a job well done and I'm really pleased with the career I've had with the national side.

"It's always a sad time when you're finishing up but I'd rather go out on my terms. I believe that I wouldn't be there for the 2010 campaign being back in Australia and I wish the boys all the very best.

"I'll be following their campaign and I hope they a fantastic one."
