Sporting Gijon striker Nacho Novo has indicated that he would one day like to return to Rangers as a player.
The 32-year old Spaniard is currently training with his former club during La Liga's Christmas break and will be in the stands for the Old Firm clash with Celtic tomorrow night.
Novo, who departed Ibrox for Gijon in May 2010, says he loves coming to watch 'Gers and admits a possible playing comeback is something that could be on the cards.
"I love the club 100 per cent and that's why I've got a ticket and will go to Celtic Park as a Rangers supporter.
"I know what I want to do with my future but I'm under contract at Sporting Gijon and it wouldn't be right to speak about other clubs while that is the case.""I'm really enjoying being back at Murray Park because I have so many good friends there," he told the Daily Record.
And Novo feels that Rangers' loss to St Mirren on the weekend will be the perfect tonic to bounce back to the winners list over their Glasgow foes.
"It doesn't matter what happened against St Mirren. It's what happens now that's crucial and my instincts tell me I'll be leaving the ground happy.""In bad times the Old Firm game gives you the opportunity to restore confidence," he added.
