Matt Pickens has signed a new contract with Colorado Rapids the club has confirmed.
The 30-year old, who spent time with QPR in 2008, has signed a multi-year extension to remain with the Rapids. Per league and team policy, terms of the contract were not disclosed.
"I'm thrilled to sign a new contract with the Rapids, and commit to staying here in Denver," said Pickens.
"I feel good about the direction the Rapids are going in with Oscar leading the way, and we're all working toward the common goal of bringing this club another championship."
Pickens joined the Rapids in 2009 and has made 103 starts for the club during his four years at Dick's Sporting Goods Park.
