Former QPR chairman Gianni Paladini is reviving his takeover plans for Birmingham City.

The Mail on Sunday says Paladini has resumed talks with Peter Pannu over his potential takeover at Birmingham City - and the Italian is hoping to work around ownership rules that would block his purchase.

Paladini has re-opened negotiations following an aborted bid to purchase the Championship club last month.
