Ex-PSG president Villeneuve: Wenger everything we need. He transformed archaic Arsenal

Former PSG president Charles Villeneuve says his old club must do what they can to bring Arsene Wenger to Paris.

Wenger announced on Friday he will be leaving the Gunners at the end of this season and French media speculation is linking him to a role with PSG.

Villeneuve told Le Parisien: "Wenger is a Germanic (he was born in Alsace). The next Parisian coach will be German (Thomas Tuchel).

"In 22 years, Arsenal has gone from an archaic, second-class club to a top-notch, money-making club, has a new stadium, which creates a space in North London's 35 hectares with a hospital, a clinic, for long care, short care, all in a Germanic discipline.

"What is missing at PSG? All of that!"
