Former PSG president Charles Villeneuve says the club is happy to see David Luiz leave.

Luiz left PSG on deadline day to return to Chelsea.

Villeneuve stated to Yahoo!: "What is my mark for PSG's recruitment? First, I think the departure of David Luiz is very good news.

"He was not suited to the PSG game and also he was not a starter for Chelsea before he arrived, he was more a midfielder.

"Marquinhos is a much better option."
