Ex-Preston skipper Gregan: Moyes won't be short of offers

Former Preston North End skipper Sean Gregan is convinced David Moyes will quickly return to football.

Gregan played for the former Manchester United manager at Deepdale.

He told the Manchester Evening News: "I don't think he will be short of job offers. Before he got the United job he mentioned working in Germany. I would like to see him stay in the Premier League.

"Maybe some chairmen will be thinking, 'should we go for him before someone else does?'

"I'm not wishing anyone out of a job, but you look at someone like Alan Pardew at Newcastle. The run they've been on is horrendous. If David Moyes is available for nothing, things might start to happen. Then someone else might look and think they'd better get him before Newcastle or another club.

"He's had a bad experience. Top managers have bad experiences, but he will be back."
