The future of Toronto FC midfielder Carl Robinson is up in the air according to club director Mo Johnston.
The Welshman, who has played with Portsmouth, Wolves, Sunderland and Norwich City among others, was basically made redundant when the Canadian club purchased Julian de Guzman from Deportivo la Coruna last September.
Robinson has now been linked with New York Red Bulls and Johnston admitted the club is considering a trade for the 33-year old.
"Carl's name has kept popping up in trade talks. It will be up to Carl and Preki how he fits in. If he doesn't, we'll try to move him," Johnston told the Toronto Sun.
