Former Porto coach Vitor Pereira is being linked with the Crystal Palace job.

The Daily Mail says Pereira is the surprise name on the short-list for the vacant job at Crystal Palace.

Pereira, 46, was considered by Everton as a successor to David Moyes, before the appointment of Roberto Martinez.

Now he is set for discussions with Crystal Palace owner Steve Parish, who sacked Neil Warnock on Saturday, following the 3-1 defeat at home to Southampton.
