Former Philadelphia Union midfielder Fred is believed to be pondering the next phase of his playing career.
The 31-year old creative Brazilian was taken in the Re-Entry Draft by New England Revolution but reports suggest that he is exploring other options rather than signing with the Revs.
Fred made 25 appearances for the Union in their debut season but the club did not protect him at season's end and he was picked up by New England with the only selection of the second round of Stage 2 on December 15.
MLSsoccer.com suggests the former DC United and Melbourne Victory man has offers from some clubs abroad.
