Former Parma star Adriano is upset seeing the club in financial meltdown.

The Brazilian striker enjoyed two successful seasons with the Ducali.

"I'm sorry, Parma gave me so much. They've remained in my heart. What can you say confronted by a situation like this?" declared Adriano to TMW.

"To the people I love, I want to say to the fans that sometimes life, like football, offers surprises.

"But I'm sure that Parma will shine again, to be important, because its history and its people deserve it. Parma will always remain in my heart."
