Ex-Palermo boss Rossi impressed by Juventus transfer market campaign

Former Palermo coach Delio Rossi is watching developments at Juventus with interest.

Juve have again made numerous changes with a new Coach, Antonio Conte, and various fresh faces brought into the squad.

"Juventus are the side who have strengthened the most," Rossi told Tuttosport.

The media have been speculating that Conte will employ 4-2-4 tactics in the campaign ahead, but Rossi isn't getting carried away.

"I wouldn't believe it even if I saw it," added the out of work Coach. "He just plays with a very offensive 4-4-2."

Among the summer signings so far, the ex-Lazio tactician has been impressed by the captures of Mirko Vucinic from Roma and Bayer Leverkusen's Arturo Vidal.

"Vucinic is not a striker in the Zlatan Ibrahimovic or Gabriel Batistuta envelope," Rossi continued.

"But if Vucinic plays as a centre-forward, and is supported by the team, then he can get 20 goals.

"As for Vidal, I'm really curious to see him. He's a quality player who can be used in more than one role."
