Notts County trialist Claude Davis will get the chance to impress when they travel to Italy for Thursday's friendly with Juventus. The 32-year-old defender is a free agent and has been training with the Magpies.
Boss Martin Allen told the Nottingham Post: "Claude has been outstanding in training. He's a big, strong defender and he's played at the top level in this country and international football for Jamaica.
"We're looking after him like he's one of our own. He will play against Juventus and then we will see how it develops."
Davis is part of the 22-man squad for the fixture which marks the opening of Juventus' new 41,000-seater stadium.
Allen added: "It will be amazing for the young lads. I want them to enjoy it and we will all enjoy ourselves. Whatever happens we will enjoy ourselves."
