Japanese midfielder Jun Marques Davidson has returned to Carolina RailHawks ahead of the 2014 North American Soccer League season.
The 30-year old Tokyo native spent time with the RailHawks in 2010 after coming to North America from his homeland where he played with Omiya Ardija, Vissel Kobe, Consadole Sapporo and Albirex Niigata.
Davidson helped guide Carolina to the USSF-D2 NASL Conference title in 2010 and is now back in North Carolina much to the delight of head coach Colin Clarke.
"It's not every day that you are able to add a player with the experience of Jun," said Clarke.
"He has a wealth of experience in the J-League and MLS and fits in well with the rest of our squad."
Davidson made 23 appearances for the RailHawks in his initial spell before returning to Japan with Tokushima Vortis in 2011. He then found himself with Vancouver Whitecaps the following year before going on to make 54 appearances over two seasons in Canada.
