Ex-NYRB, Chivas striker Agudelo in line for New England bow

Juan Agudelo could make his New England Revolution debut this weekend according to head coach Jay Heaps.

The 20-year old forward was acquired in a trade with Chivas USA last week and if training goes to plan, could play in Revs colours for the first time at Houston Dynamo on the weekend.

"I think this is a good week for Juan," Heaps told MLSsoccer.com of the promising USA international.

"He joined us last week and he only had two half-days of training that weren't real. It would have been a tough decision to have him to go full without having a week with us.

"We're training him this week. We're getting him back to see where he is [in terms of his] fitness level. He hasn't played in three weeks, from a fitness standpoint, but he's healthy and he's moving around.

"This week will be important to gauge him."
