Former Newcastle United and Ajax striker Patrick Kluivert is becoming a cartoon character.

The People says the 32-year-old, 79-times capped Dutch striker has moved into the movie business.

He is providing the voices for several animal characters in the Dutch version of the animated film Madagascar 2.

Kluivert plans to donate his fee to an animal charity in Curacao, his mother's Caribbean island birthplace.
