Michael Chopra has joined Sachin Tendulkar's Kerala Blasters in the inaugural Indian Super League.
The former Newcastle United and Sunderland striker was the Kerala Blasters' first pick in Thursday's International Players Draft in Mumbai.
"I am very excited to have been picked by Kerala Blasters," he told Sky Sports.
"I just can't wait to get the boots back on and get on the pitch. To play for a team that is owned by Sachin Tendulkar is an honour."
Part-owned by Tendulkar, the Kerala Blasters' manager will be former Liverpool and Manchester City goalkeeper David James.
