Leon Best believes new club Blackburn Rovers have the ability to bounce straight back to the Premier League following last season's relegation.
The Irish striker has joined Rovers from Newcastle United and feels that things at Ewood Park can go in a similar fashion to what the Magpies experienced when they went down a few years ago.
"With Newcastle, I think the season we had in the Championship built us and made us better in the Premier League," Best told Sky Sport.
"Now I want to do the same thing here. Sometimes you need that wake-up call to go down and build a good squad, go back up and work together."
