Ex-Newcastle, Portsmouth striker LuaLua open to permanent Blackpool stay

Lomana LuaLua says he would love to stay at Blackpool if the opportunity arose.

The 30-year old Congolese striker, who has previously spent time with Newcastle United and Portsmouth, is with the Seasiders until the summer after signing in September and admits that a permanent move would be something he would welcome.

"I am contracted until the end of the season and that is all I am concentrating on. If I impress people and the club want to offer me a new deal, then great, why not?" he told the Blackpool Gazette.

"I am very happy here and really enjoying my football. But my long-term future isn't something I am thinking about too much.

"I just want to concentrate on trying to get Blackpool to the Premier League."
