Former Newcastle Jets striker Francis Jeffers will join Scottish Premier League club Motherwell for the rest of the season.
The 29-year old will land at Fir Park on Monday as a free agent after signing a short-term deal with the Steelmen.
The club was hoping to get him in for Saturday's league cup meeting with Stranraer but the required paperwork did not come through in time meaning he will have to wait to play his first game for Motherwell against his former club Rangers.
Jeffers had a successful 10-match guest stint with the Jets from mid November until late December but the A-League club could not give him a longer deal, forcing him to return to England.
But now the ex-Arsenal, Everton and Sheffield Wednesday man will be back in action in the UK for Stuart McCall's side who are sitting eighth on the league table.
