Released Newcastle United fullback Stephen Carr has offers on the table from Coventry City and Bayer Leverkusen.
Coventry could hold talks this week with the ex-Tottenham defender, who is keen to agree a contract without undergoing a trial.
If that is not forthcoming, Carr may be tempted by a move to Germany with Leverkusen.
