Former Newcastle United captain Jonas Gutierrez could be on the move to Italy.

The Argentine is currently a free agent, but eager to continue playing in Europe.

Agents for Jonas have been in touch with Cagliari and Chievo Verona to offer his services, reports TMW.

For the moment, both clubs are mulling over the proposal.

Jonas played last season with Deportivo La Coruna, making 15 appearances.
